The Capital Complex is another masterpiece by Le Corbusier Centre which is also the seat of the government comprising of the Legislative Assembly, High Court, and the Secretariat. The Open Hand monument situated there is a major tourist attraction along with others like the Tower of Shadows, Geometric Hill, and Martyr's Memorial.
The Rose Festival in Zakir Hussain Rose Garden happens every February, showing thousands of subspecies of roses, making it the perfect place for nature lovers. Whereas, in the middle of September and October during the festival of Navratri, many associations and organizations hold a Ramlila event, being carried out for more than five decades now. Sukhna Lake, a stretch for about 3km is the most picturesque location in Chandigarh and you cannot fail to miss it. It is one of the perfect places for joggers and walkers.
